Who We Are & What We Do

We’re dedicated to providing financial assistance to Jews in the tri-state area (CT, NJ, NY) who are struggling to begin or grow their families.

Many couples or individuals can’t afford the cost of fertility treatments. Our grants allow those in need to pursue their dreams of having children, regardless of their denomination, sexuality, or marital status.

The Issue:

Jewish couples face three major obstacles when struggling to have children

The cost of fertility treatment is out of reach.

86% of couples don’t pursue fertility treatment because of the cost.

Many Jewish fertility organizations are selective in who they support.

Certain social categories, such as jewish denomination, sexual orientation, or marital status, may adversely affect one’s access to equitable financial grants.
Lack of support from health insurance
Majority of American health insurance policies do not offer fertility coverage.

High Infertility Rates,
Yet Many Don’t Seek Help

  • Infertility rate in the Jewish community is 1:6, compared to the national average of 1:8
  • 12.2% of women have used infertility services
  • 13.8% of women have impaired fecundity (the ability to produce an abundance of offspring or new growth)
  • 86% of couples don’t pursue fertility treatment because of the cost

Due to the high number of genetic matches in the Jewish community, statistics may be underinflated.
